More UI enhancements

Post by buttim »

One small (easy?) enhancement would be to get the path you followed to the sonde represented on the map. I don't know if I'm the only one, but when deep in the woods I easily lose orientation. Looking at my past path would give me a good reference (maybe even to get back to the car...).

The words LAT and LON take up quite a big portion of the small TTGO display, I would prefer to see distance from the target instead, just in case my phone is out of battery.

I have a some mapping apps on my phone but it's quite uncomfortable to have to switch between apps continually; and I cannot see the that AND the sonde position at the same time...
Thanks for the suggestion anyway

If we could vote here, this would be my highest priority to get in the app.

The other day I was on the hunt without 4G coverage. So no map in the app. It would have helped a lot if I just could have seen my track. Afterwards I did get the tip to use the links to open a different app with offline maps stored indeed. But I think this will be really useful.

Thanks
Dave
