New feature suggestion: RAW DATA

Post by demilson »

Hello there!

I came here to suggest a new feature for MySondyGo: the direct output (by serial USB and/or Bluetooth), of the raw data - decoded from Lora chip. It would open the possibility to use the MySoundGo as a primary receiver of a fixed tracking station.

Having access to the raw data could be possible to feed directly decoding software as the great RS41Tracker, Sondemonitor, or even auto-rx.

This function could be enabled in the MySondyGo config menu and, of course, It would have to disable the actual API data.

Thank you all for the development of MySondyGO. It is a great source of fun helping the operations of radiosondes recoveries.

Regards to all!

I would recommend using rdzTTGOsonde currently if you want SondeHub uploading.

Luke, is there a particular fork of rdzTTGOsonde that is somehow "better" or should we stick to the original?

Stick with the development branch of rdzTTGOsonde we have been doing daily updates for the last few weeks to the point where RS41 decoding is almost at feature parity to auto_rx (just missing pressure)

Hi Luke, why doesn't it decode the pressure?

Hi, sorry for the very late reply.

The rdzTTGOsonde code will now decode and transmit all the RS41 telemetry including pressure except for XDATA if an Ozone sensor is attached, that still requires a radiosonde_auto_rx station.

You can find the complete compatibility matrix here: https://github.com/dl9rdz/rdz_ttgo_sond ... ort-matrix
