T-Beam won't load

Post by dzaring »

I'm trying to install mysondygo onto a t-beam. When I run this flash download 3.8.7 software, select ESP32, I get an error message 5-chip efuse check fail. Got any suggestion?

ok, use the little TTGO 2.16 with MysondyGo instead, and the T-BEAM with RDZ

I looked up RDZ. Found some documentation but not the software. It installs with esptool. I use esptool to load masondy.bin and it seems to work. Now I'm having problems with the android app. I've pair the tablet with the tbdeam but when I start the app it spins for a while and shuts down.

turn on your TTGO before the app, but it can come from a too recent Android, which sometimes poses a problem with certain phones, try it with an Android 6 or 7 to see

I'm running Android v10 and there doesn't seem to be a way to downgrade for my tablet.

there are several people who have problems with an Android that is too recent, can you do a test with an Android 6 or 7, I use Android 6 and MysondyGo works perfectly

no, with another phone or tablet in Android 6 or 7 to see if the problem is still present or not

is your tablet connected to wifi?
