Hello, New to MySondy, so sorry if I miss the Information on getting set-up
I do not have the App for the Tuning page "Iphone user" and was wondering if there is another way to get the frequency set up?
Have a Lilygo set up with the software and seems to be up and running with a Frequency of 404.600
The Radio Sondes around my area, "Oregon US" seem to run with 401.400 or similar.
So my question is, is there a different way to Tune the unit? also should I get a better Antenna? "using the one that came with the board"
I have a RS41 in the air, and about 45km away using 401.400, but unable to receive.
Thanks, Keith

Re: Tuning with out the App
What is really important is the height of the sonde. 45km can be quite near if the sonde is high in the sky, let's say 20000m.
On the contrary even 5km can bee too much for receiving if there are obstacles in between.
In my experience tuning is not really necessary, but can help.
See for example here what I could receive from inside an urban environment with a sonde at 16000m
